After you have combed your hair, blow-dry your hair and check thoroughly if it is dry, nits are easier to see on dry hair. Check around the edges of your hair, behind your ears, at the neck and anywhere. If you find any, pull them off and soak into a bowl of vinegar. If you see more than a few nits, again, perform another vinegar wrap. This will further loosen the nits’ cling on your hair. Carefully wet a towel with a mixture of vinegar and water, wrap the head and leave for one hour. Let the hair dry and check again.
